WEST BATH — Shirley Margaret Osborne, 92, died Dec. 24, in Pembroke, Mass. while visiting her son’s home for the Christmas holiday.

Born in Bath on Sept. 24, 1914, she was the daughter of John and Ethel Warner and attended Bath schools.

Osborne was employed by Bath Memorial Hospital, working there until retiring at age 82, a feat she was very proud of.

A very family-oriented person, there was not anything she would not do for her family and she always looked forward to holiday visits with family. In addition to spending time with her family, Osborne liked watching birds and doing puzzles.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Osborne; sisters Althea Osborne, Barbara Rideout, Marion Reeder, Pricilla Wood and Doris Warner; and a brother, John Warner Jr.

She is survived by her son Charles Aubut and his wife Joyce and their family Beth Aubut, Mark Aubut and his wife Kathleen, Elaine Ellis and her husband Jason; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Katlyn, Rilee and Daniel; son Gerald Aubut and his family; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Dec. 30 from 5-7 p.m. at the David E. Desmond Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath.
