BOWDOINHAM — Shirley F. Walden, 65, died May 9 at Mid Coast Hospital.
On Dec. 9, 1945, she was born in Brunswick, the daughter of Roy D. and Florence M. Sedgley Wallace, and attended local schools.
After receiving her Certified Nursing Assistant certification, she worked as a CNA at local nursing homes and in private duty.
She is survived by her brother, Roy Wallace, and his wife Julie of Topsham; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held earlier this week at the Topsham Grange.
Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
