  • Yarmouth Police Beat: Aug. 18

    Arrests

    8/10 at 1:32 a.m. Emeline M. McEown, 22, of Middle Road, was arrested by Officer Michael J. Peacock, on a charge of operating vehicle without a license.

    Missing bike

    8/10 at 4:57 p.m. Police were notified of a missing bike and chain from a storage shed at Juniper East apartments. The lock was cut and $30 in accessories were reported missing.

  • Falmouth police beat: Aug. 18

    Arrests

    8/6 at 2:50 p.m. Michael Carr, 60, of Damariscotta, was arrested on Longwoods Road by Officer Steve Townsend on a charge of operating after a license was suspended or revoked and on a warrant for another agency.

    8/8 at 9:09 p.m. Homes Simply, 67, of Burlington, Vt., was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Kurt Fegan on a warrant for another agency.

    8/11 at 5 p.m. A 17-year-old female was arrested on Middle Road by Sgt. George Savidge on a warrant for another agency.

    Arrests

    8/11 at 9:47 p.m. Assist rescue, Shady Brook Drive.

    8/14 at 4:11 p.m. Fire, North Road.

    There were five calls for emergency medical assistance from Aug. 10-16.

  • Portland Police Beat: Aug. 16

    Arrests

    8/9 at 12 p.m. Charlene D'Guggliemo, 43, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Amie Rapa at Horton Place on a charge of theft.

    8/9 at 7 p.m. Nasir Hirad, 20, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Bethany Edwards on Forest Avenue on a charge of theft.

    8/9 at 5 p.m. Magongo Kouk, 21, no address listed, was arrested by Officer Chris Mitchell on Park Avenue on charges of criminal trespass and violation of conditional release.

  • Cape Elizabeth Police Beat: Aug. 12

    Arrests

    8/5 at 3:14 a.m. A 16-year-old was arrested by Officer Ben Davis on charges of illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile by consumption, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

    8/5 at 9:14 a.m. John Stanton Morris, 19, was arrested by Officer Rory Diffin on a warrant on Granite Ridge Road for operating without a license.

  • South Portland Police Beat: Aug. 12

    Arrests

    7/31 at 1:18 a.m. Sandra Disanto, 47, of Gorham, was arrested on Elderberry Drive by Officer Kevin Sager on charges of possession of scheduled drugs and violation of bail conditions.

    7/31 at 6:51 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was summonsed on Main Street by Officer Patricia Maynard on a charge of operating without a license.

    7/31 at 8:20 p.m. A 16-year-old girl was summonsed on Grand Street by Officer Richard Mearn on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

    Arrests

    8/2 at 3:02 a.m. Kyle Roberts, 18, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Mary Pearson on a warrant for another agency.

    8/3 at 1:40 p.m. Brandon Jenkins, 20, of Brunswick, was arrested on Bayview Avenue by Officer Matthew Webb on two warrants from other agencies.

    8/7 at 1:54 a.m. Albert Harriott, 28, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Craig Hebert on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked and violating bail conditions.

    Arrests

    8/2 at 7 p.m. Haven John Willis, 35, of unknown address, was arrested on Cushing Street on a charge of violating conditions of release.

    8/5 at 5:48 p.m. Matthew C. Tower, 21, of 59 Franklin Parkway, was arrested on Bath Road on a warrant.

    8/6 at 2:55 a.m. Michael James Gaines, 46, of 5 Cedar St. Apt. A, was arrested on Bridge Street on charges of operating under the influence and operating vehicle without license.

  • Harpswell Police Beat: Aug. 11

    Arrests

    8/8 at 2:55 p.m. Nicholas Edgar Wilson, 34, of 315 Harpswell Neck Road, was arrested on Route 123 on a charge of violating conditions of release.

    Arrests

    8/3 at 3:30 p.m. Leann Miller, 18, listed as a transient, was arrested by Officer Keith Jensen on charges of domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal mischief and obstructing the report of a crime.

    8/4 at 9 p.m. Brandon Mitchell, 24, of Stacey Street, was arrested on a warrant by Officer Brett McIntire.

    8/4 at 10:45 p.m. James Manley, 50, of Cleveland, Tenn., was arrested by Officer Brett McIntire on a charge of violation of condition of release.
