PORTLAND — An ongoing sewer separation project will require the closing of High Street from York to Danforth streets Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said the street will be closed from 7 p.m.-6 a.m. both nights. Through traffic will be allowed on York Street, with a detour using Center to Spring streets to get back to High Street.

There will also be no access to High Street from Commercial Street.

Crews will be installing a new storm drain on High Street and replacing a water main on York Street, Grondin said.
