BRUNSWICK — A local adult care provider is hosting its first Sea Dog Dash for Independence this Sunday.
The Independence Association event begins at 8 a.m. at Brunswick Junior High School, 65 Columbia Ave., for 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer and 1-mile runs.
Registration is $25 for 5K and 10K runners, while 1-mile runners and adults who benefit from IA’s services will only have to pay $15. Registration is discounted for runners who sign up online before Sunday.
The proceeds will benefit Independence Association, a Brunswick-based adult care provider that has faced budget cuts from the state over the past year. Sea Dog Brewing Co. is the event sponsor.
