PORTLAND — Scott Jeffrey McKenney, 53, of Portland, died May 25 at Maine Medical Center.
He was born March 20, 1962, in Portland, a son of Everett McKenney and Barbara (Humiston) McKenney. He grew up in Portland, then attended South Portland schools.
Among his interests, McKenney loved sports. He was an avid fan of every New England team, as well as NASCAR racing.
McKenney was predeceased by his mother, Barbara, in 2012.
He is survived by his father, Everett, of Florida; his siblings, Norman McKenney, of Lewiston, Curtis McKenney, of Portland, Fred McKenney, of Buxton, Tammy McKenney, of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, and Stacey Yankowsky, of Portland; two daughters and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held June 1 at Brooklawn Memorial Park, in Portland.
