PORTLAND — The School Board held a fourth executive session Tuesday in the search for a firm to help find the next superintendent of schools.
The board’s superintendent search committee held executive sessions Nov. 16 and 23 to conduct interviews with the firms that reached out. On Dec. 15, the full board had an executive session to discuss which firm to select. Chairwoman Marnie Morrione said the Dec. 21 session would continue that conversation.
Morrione said the firm that is chosen will not be released until the Jan. 5, 2016, board meeting. At that meeting, a letter of understanding will be signed with the firm, and there will be a vote to allocate no more than $25,000 for firm’s work.
