Scarborough won two separate age divisions at the recent Little League state championships.

The 11-12-year-old team topped Biddeford 14-0 in Orrington to take its crown. The team was coached by Pat Donahue, Dave Sullivan, Brian Seguin and Jim Liponis and managed by Corey Frink. Team members included Sam Clark, Thomas Donahue, Nic Frink, Ryan Gambardella, Ryan Kelly, TJ Liponis, Reilly Martin, Peter O’Brien, Nate Robinson, Sam Rumelhart, Ben Seguin, Jack Simonton, Cade Sullivan and Joe Townsend.

Scarborough advanced to the regional tournament in Bristol, Connecticut and will battle Vermont Sunday.

The Scarborough 9-10 team also won its state tournament, downing Saco, 9-6, in the final.
