SCARBOROUGH — Summerfest 2015 will be held Friday, Aug. 21, from 5-10 p.m. at Clifford Mitchell Sports Complex. 

Residents can enjoy food, games, live music and fireworks at the sports complex, at 11 Municipal Drive. A one-mile race for kids starts at 6p.m., followed by an adult 5K at 6:30 p.m. 

Live entertainment will start at 5:30 p.m. with a comedy hypnosis show, and live music performed by the Montgomery Road Band is slated to follow, from 7-9 p.m. 

Local nonprofits, including the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club and Lions Club, will offer food. Scarborough sports teams and other local groups will offer raffle prizes and giveaways. A juggling show will be performed by Juggle for Haiti, and the Scarborough Fire Department will lead CPR demonstrations. 

Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.
