Scarborough’s Tori Armishaw and Joe Viola were honored as outstanding citizens at the recent first annual Southern Maine Activities Association Citizenship Banquet. Armishaw is a four-year soccer player who led the Red Storm to their first Class A title back in November. She is the president of the Student Council and participates in Natural Helpers, Key Club, Civil Rights Team and is a member of the National Honor Society. She will attend the Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall. Viola played football and competes in indoor and outdoor track. Viola is the vice president of Student Council, is a member of NHS and was the school’s representative to the SMAA Student-Athlete Summit as a junior. An honor student, Viola was chosen as track captain in both his junior and senior years. He’ll attend the University of Maine in Orono.
