Five players from Scarborough were part of a Seacoast United Mariners U-13 boys’ soccer team which won the state title June 2 with a 3-2 double overtime win over MPS Portland Phoenix, on Jarred Greenleaf’s winning goal. The victory sends Seacoast United to the Eastern Regional tournament in Rhode Island at the end of the month. Additionally, this past weekend, Seacoast United won the U-13 championship of the New England Premiership in Lancaster, Mass.
