Midshipman Roscoe Thomas, a 2010 graduate of Scarborough High School and a junior at the U.S. Naval Academy, competed in the recent national championships at Annapolis, Md., where Navy won five of seven races. and the Kennedy Cup National Big Boat Championship. With the victory, Navy earned the right to represent the United States at the Student Yachting World Cup in France in 2013.
