8/23 at 1:36 a.m. John Pettengill, 39, of Biddeford, was arrested on Gorham Road by Officer Brian Nappi on charges of violating bail conditions and refusing a test for operating under the influence. At 3:21 a.m., Pettengill was arrested on County Road on a charge of domestic violence assault.

8/24 at 12:17 a.m. Scott John Hafford, 44, of Portland, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Melissa Savage on charges of driving to endanger, failing to stop for an officer, eluding an officer and refusing to submit to arrest.

8/24 at 6:53 p.m. Maurice Dixon Jr., 46, of Route 1, Scarborough, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Craig Hebert on charges of domestic violence assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence criminal threatening.

8/25 at 9:02 p.m. Michael McGraw, 28, of Gorham, was arrested on Running Hill Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of eluding an officer, operating when a license was suspended or revoked, driving to endanger and displaying a fictitious vehicle inspection certificate.

8/28 at 2:22 a.m. Nathanael LaVallee, 19, of Cape Elizabeth, was arrested on Longmeadow Road by Officer Glenn Tucker on a charge of violating bail conditions.

8/28 at 8:07 p.m. Jessica Larrabee, 25, of Standish, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Timothy Barker on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

8/26 at 7:20 a.m. Ronald Bean, 33, of Old Orchard Beach, was summonsed on Gibson Road by Officer Timothy Barker on a charge of criminal mischief.

8/28 at 2:19 p.m. Anthony Lawson, 29, of Phillip Road, Scarborough, was summonsed on Lincoln Avenue by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of assault.

8/28 at 2:19 p.m. Mohamedrashid Yuss Sharif-Isaack, 21, of Portland, was summonsed on Lincoln Avenue by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of aggravated assault.

8/28 at 9:45 p.m. Brett Dobrovolny, 22, of Chamberlain Road, Scarborough, was summonsed on Bayview Avenue by Officer Matthew Webb on charges of possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

NASCAR wanna-be

8/24 at 12:17 a.m. Saco police alerted Scarborough police of a high-speed pursuit in progress on Route 1. A black pick-up truck was reportedly traveling in excess of 100 mph through the construction zone at Dunstan Corner.

The truck allegedly plowed through spike sticks police set up on Route 1 and drove on its rims through Oak Hill, finally coming to a stop in front of McDonald’s. Scott John Hafford, 44, of Portland, was charged with failure to stop and eluding an officer, refusing to submit to arrest and driving to endanger. He was taken to York County Jail.

Stunt man

8/25 at 9:02 p.m. Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle for allegedly speeding on Running Hill Road, however the driver allegedly continued driving, speeding up to 60 mph toward South Portland. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, jumped out while it was still moving and took off on foot across the highway while his car crashed into a guardrail. Michael McGraw, 28, of Gorham, was apprehended at Longhorn Steakhouse and charged with driving to endanger, eluding an officer, and driving with a suspended license.

8/28 at 8:07 p.m. Police responded to a call from Marden’s where loss prevention had apprehended a woman after reportedly witnessing her put several DVDs into her purse, purchase a welder at the register, then walk out without paying for the DVDs. Jessica Larrabee, 25, of Standish, was arrested and charged with theft of six DVDs, including “I Can Do Bad All By Myself,” Goodfellas,” “Couples Retreat” and “He’s Just Not That Into You.”
