10/11 at 11:27 p.m. Leonard Howard, 57, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Pine Point Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of burglary with a dangerous weapon, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and possession/transfer of burglar tools.

10/12 at 1:09 a.m. Mark Tinkham, 40, of South Portland, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Brian Nappi on a charge of operating under the influence.

10/12 at 2:33 p.m. Julie Sanborn, 49, of Portland, was arrested on Pine Point Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked, violating bail conditions and displaying a fictitious vehicle inspection certificate.

10/13 at 9:02 a.m. Gregory Mead, 42, of Limington, was arrested on Ferry Road by Officer Peter Nappi on a warrant for another agency.

10/14 at 12:23 p.m. Wade Roma, 21, of Westbrook, was arrested on Black Point Road by Officer Peter Nappi on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked, failure to give a correct name, address or date of birth and violating conditions of release.

10/14 at 3:08 p.m. Wade Roma, 21, of Westbrook, was arrested on Spurwink Road by Officer Brian Nappi on charges of burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.

10/16 at 5:25 p.m. Stephen Alfieri, 44, of Lamplighter Lane, Scarborough, was arrested on Lamplighter Lane by Officer Steven Thibodeau on charges of cultivating marijuana and two charges of domestic violence assault.

10/11 at 11:07 a.m. Kyle Green, 24, of Hollis Center, was issued a summons on Payne Road by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

10/13 at 9:55 a.m. Elizabeth Selberg-Stross, 20, of Portland, was issued a summons on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

10/13 at 12:31 p.m. Julie Sanborn, 49, of Old Orchard Beach, was issued a summons on Pleasant Hill Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of theft of services.

10/15 at 7:17 p.m. Joseph Kingsbury, 24, of Charles Circle, Scarborough, was issued a summons on Payne Road by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

10/15 at 8:15 p.m. Shane Hussey, 22, of Saco, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of attaching false plates.

Crabby thief

10/11 at 11:27 p.m. Officers responded to a burglar alarm at Bailey’s Lobster and reportedly found a window smashed. A brief search of the area reportedly turned up Leonard Howard, 57, of Old Orchard Beach, who was allegedly hiding in the bushes about 50 feet behind the business. Police allegedly recovered three tubs of crab meat and three bottles of Sutter Home wine in Howard’s bag, and found that he had a knife and hatchet on him. He was charged with burglary with a weapon, theft and possession of burglar tools.

Leave only footprints

10/12 at 12:23 p.m. Officer Peter Nappi pulled over a blue Toyota Corolla on Black Point Road for erratic operation and the driver allegedly told him he forgot his license at home. He reportedly said his name was Joseph Smith. No one matching the reported name and date of birth came up in the system, at which point the man allegedly admitted his name was Wade Roma. Roma, 21, of Westbrook, was arrested and charged with operating when a license was suspended or revoked, failure to give a correct name and violating conditions of release. Three hours later, officers connected Roma with a burglary on Spurwink Road by allegedly matching the shoes he was wearing when he was arrested with a footprint from the door that was smashed in at the residence. After obtaining a warrant for the vehicle, officers allegedly discovered items including jewelry, an L.L. Bean bag and a Nintendo in the trunk of the car. These were items reported missing by the homeowner. Roma was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
