9/30 at 11:39 a.m. Peter C. Rosa, 26, of Gray Road, Gorham, was arrested on Black Point Road by Reserve Officer Peter Nappi on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding warrant from another agency.

10/3 at 5:12 p.m. John W. Bedirian, 33, of Union Street, Boothbay Harbor, was arrested on East Grand Avenue by Officer Timothy Dalton on charges of theft by unauthorized taking, theft by unauthorized use of property, violating conditions of release, operating with a suspended or revoked license, carrying a concealed weapon and an outstanding warrant from another agency.

10/6 at 10:31 a.m. Derrick P. McCarthy, 31, of School Street, Old Orchard Beach, was arrested at Payne and Milliken roads by Officer Cody Lounder on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

9/30 at 1:41 a.m. Stefanie J. Schneider, 38, of Woodlawn Avenue, Larchmont, N.Y., was issued a summons on King Street by Officer Craig Hebert on a charge of possession of marijuana.

9/30 at 11:21 p.m. Kim C. Jackson, 62, of Evanthia Drive, was issued a summons at U.S. Route 1 and Queens Drive by Officer Benjamin Landry on a charge of operating or allowing operation with a suspended registration.

10/2 at 8:10 p.m. A 17-year-old female, of Casco, was issued a summons at Payne and Ginn roads by Officer Melissa DiClemente on a charge of operating without a license.

10/4 at 9:11 a.m. Terrance R. Burnett, 54, of Garnet Drive, South Portland, was issued a summons on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Donald Laflin on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

10/5 at 9:29 p.m. Corey J. Toderico, 36, of Beech Ridge Road, was issued a summons on Saco Street by Officer Ian Theriault on a charge of violating conditions of release.

10/6 at 11:36 p.m. Jesse Gardner, 22, of Lincoln Street, Saco, was issued a summons at U.S. Route 1 and Broadturn Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

For whom the doorbell tolls

10/1 at 1:37 a.m. Police responding to complaints at the Maine Veterans’ Home off U.S. Route 1 were unable to find a suspect in dark clothes and a baseball cap who may have been ringing doorbells and running away.

It’s 4:20 somewhere

10/2 at 6:02 p.m. After three people were suspected of smoking marijuana near the snack stand at Hurd Park off King Street, police found no suspicious behavior while watching them on Pine Point Beach.

Cut to the chase

10/6 at 1:41 p.m. Police said a man who allegedly stole a chainsaw from Lowe’s on Gallery Boulevard was pursued by another store customer. The chase ended when the suspect said he had a gun.
