3/18 at 5:58 p.m. Hope M. Champagne, 24, of Portland, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of disorderly conduct and failing to give a correct name.

3/20 at 7:50 p.m. Robert J. Ricker, 26, of Osborne Avenue, South Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Benjamin Landry on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

3/20 at 7:50 p.m. Shelby F. MacVane, 20, of Osborne Avenue, South Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Benjamin Landry on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release.

3/23 at 12:02 p.m. Lindsey J. Bickford, 25, of Maple Ridge Road, Gorham, was arrested at Black Point and Old County roads by Officer Cody Lounder on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

3/23 at 1:52 p.m. A 16-year old female, of Scarborough, was arrested at Payne and Roundwood roads by Officer Timothy Dalton on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

3/24 at 11:35 p.m.  Christopher Doten, 22, of Coyote Lane, Meddybemps, was issued a summons on Black Point Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of failure to stop at a signal.

Rummage sale?

3/21 at 8:52 a.m. Police were unable to locate a man in an orange hunter’s cap reportedly seen going through the trash at an East Grand Avenue home. He was last seen driving toward Old Orchard Beach in a small gray pickup truck.

Full and fragrant

3/21 at 5:16 p.m. Officer Glenn Tucker arrested Michael A. Lavoie, 44, of Marial Avenue, Biddeford, on Payne Road after Lavoie allegedly fled Walmart on Gallery Boulevard. He is accused of stealing a BB gun, BBs, CO2 cartridges and a bottle of cologne. When arrested, Lavoie was allegedly carrying a knife and had two bottles (one opened) of rum in his vehicle. He was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, driving to endanger, carrying a concealed weapon, operating with a suspended or revoked license and violating conditions of release. Police said Lavoie was seen eating two slices of pizza before leaving the store. He was also reported for speeding on Payne Road and improper passing as he fled.

Play somewhere else

3/22 at 6:23 p.m. Two men, ages 20 and 22, were given trespass notices by police after being told to leave Cabela’s because the men were climbing on the rock wall and taxidermy displays. The younger man was also warned about consuming alcohol as a minor.
