About 20 minutes later, a woman called police to report she was a passenger in the truck and had honked the horn to alert police that the driver was drunk. She reportedly told police the driver was heavily intoxicated, driving aggressively and allegedly hit her multiple times when she tried to stop her from driving. The driver allegedly pulled over and threw the passenger’s cell phone out the window, then got out to try to pull the passenger out of the truck, but the passenger had locked the doors. The driver then took off walking down Beech Ridge Road.
