5/23 at 11:56 a.m. Charles L. Pettigrow, 41, of Sebago, was issued a summons on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5/23 at 1:33 p.m. Jesse N. Gardner, 19, of Scarborough, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of possession of marijuana.

5/23 at 3:39 p.m. Naomi E. Hill, 34, of Standish, was issued a summons on Washington Avenue by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

Stopped shorts

5/23 at 11:56 a.m. A loss prevention officer at Walmart on Gallery Boulevard allegedly saw Charles L. Pettigrow, 41, of Sebago, make off with four pairs of women’s shorts, valued at $42, without paying. Pettigrow allegedly made it to the foyer before he was stopped and eventually issued a summons on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Gun thief has eye for fashion

5/23 11:46 p.m. Six rifles, ammunition and some Pandora rings were reported stolen from a residence on Maple Avenue. The goods reported stolen were valued by police at $1,485. The residents reportedly believe the burglary took place while they were gone, sometime during the day between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Ex-boyfriend needs time to heel

5/25 at 12:59 p.m. A female resident on Ardora Circle reported that someone reportedly entered her unlocked home and stole a cream-colored pair of Aldo platform shoes valued at $70. Police said the resident suspected an ex-boyfriend.
