7/12 at 5:58 a.m. Jason Snow, 31, of Ash Swamp Road, was arrested on Ash Swamp Road by Officer Timothy Dalton on charges of tampering with a witness, violating bail conditions and violating a protective order.

7/12 at 12:20 p.m. Dexter G. Lord II, 30, of Westbrook, was arrested at the high school by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/12 at 7:06 p.m. Nicholas Stephen Morrow, 22, of Garnet Drive, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on charges of violating a protective order and violating probation or parole.

7/13 at 10:03 p.m. Rodney Moore, 47, of New Britain, Conn., was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in the damage to attending vehicle.

7/14 at 10:39 a.m. Christopher Fraser, 22, of Portland, was arrested at Walmart by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/14 at 9:38 p.m. Ashley Thompson, 21, of Green Needle Drive, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol.

7/16 at 1:17 p.m. Lisa Smith, 50, of Saco, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs.

7/12 at 3:21 p.m. Scott Snow, 18, of Parsonsfield, was summonsed at Cabela’s by Officer Robert Moore on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/12 at 3:22 p.m. Joseph Michael Sullivan, 23, of South Portland, was summonsed on Greenwood Avenue by Officer Scott Hendee on charges of failure to register vehicle for more than 150 days and failure to produce evidence of vehicle insurance.

7/14 at 10:39 p.m. Charmaine Shaw, 37, of Martin Avenue, was summonsed on Route 1 by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

7/15 at 11:09 p.m. Rory Scranton, 28, of Portland, was summonsed on I-295 by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of failure to register a vehicle for more than 150 days.

7/16 at 12:31 p.m. BobiSue Dix, 25, of Buxton, was summonsed at Walmart by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

7/17 at 8:46 a.m. Sarah Elizabeth Stearns, 39, of Sawyer Road, was summonsed on Elmwood Avenue by Officer Craig Hebert on a charge of violating a protective order.

Paying an even higher price

7/12 at 12:20 p.m. A witness called police after allegedly seeing a man cut the chain and steal a motorized bicycle that was locked to a stop sign near the high school. The motorized bicycle, worth $350, reportedly had a for sale sign taped to it. Police reportedly found Dexter G. Lord II, 30, of Westbrook, with the bike and charged him with theft.

The honeymoon is over

7/13 at 10:01 a.m. Police received a report of a bad check for $3,120.80 that was written to the Landing for catering and hosting a wedding service. Police have contacted the alleged check-writer, who has five days to pay the debt.

An urgent need for pie

7/13 at 9:03 p.m. A blue pick-up was traveling south on Route 1 when the driver reportedly unexpectedly did a u-turn and collided with another car traveling on the other side of the road. The pick-up truck driver allegedly took off, but witnesses gave police a license plate number. Police located the truck at Governor’s Restaurant in South Portland, where they arrested Rodney Moore, 47, of New Britain, Conn. on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Building warheads?

7/17 at 1:28 p.m. Police and rescue crews responded to a call from the hazardous waste pick up crew at the Public Works garage when a resident dropped off a box marked “uranium.” Clean Harbors reportedly told crews uranium is not something they can dispose of. The Maine Center for Disease Control was contacted to take care of the box.
