7/4 at 6:32 p.m. Joseph F. Connely, 68, of Highland Pines Road, was arrested on Highland Pines Road by Officer Ian Theriault on a charge of domestic-violence criminal threatening.

7/4 at 7:17 p.m. Francesca V. Jellison, 50, of Delaware Court, Portland, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/5 at 6:15 a.m. Clayton H. Hawes, 46, of Meserve Circle, Saco, was arrested on I-295 by Offiver Garrett Strout on charges of operating while suspended or revoked and violating bail conditions of release.

7/6 at 1:47 a.m. Amanda L. Champlin, 18, of Cedarbrook Drive, was arrested on Cedarbrook Drive by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of domestic-violence assault.

7/6 at 2:56 p.m. Marcy M. Soule, 45, of Matthew Way, was arrested on Crystal Lane by Officer Glenn Tucker on a charge of violating bail conditions of release.

7/7 at 11:29 p.m. Douglas D. Leon, 44, of Clover Leaf Lane, was arrested on Holmes Road by Officer Steven Thibodeau on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/8 at 12 p.m. Logan Waterhouse, 28, of Emmons Street, Biddeford, was arrested on Queens Drive by Officer Melissa Savage on three warrants.

7/10 at 1:57 a.m. Justin Roy Nezol, 19, of Quaker Meeting House Road, Durham, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license.

7/10 at 2:45 a.m. Brandon A. Pullen, 26, of Valley Street, Portland, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/10 at 12:41 p.m. Brandi L. Patel, 27, of Austin Street, Westbrook, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of operating while suspended or revoked and on a warrant.

Summonses

7/6 at 3:44 p.m. Sean R. Oddy, 18, of Kennebunk, was issued a summons on Shipwreck Road by Officer Cory Lounder on a charge of minor possessing alcohol.

7/7 at 12:55 p.m. Ivan M. O’Hara, 18, of York Street, Portland, was issued a summons on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Douglas Weed on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/8 at 12:55 p.m. A 15-year-old girl, of Westbrook, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Douglas Weed on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

7/7 at 4:16 p.m. Shaine A. Mathews-Burks, 21, of Starboard Drive, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Hannaford Drive by Officer Michael Sawyer on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/9 at 9:42 p.m. Donald Norton, 46, and James Norton, 56, both of Braintree Mass., were issued summonses on Higgins Beach by Reserve Officer Cody Lounder on a charge of possession of fireworks.

7/10 at 1:07 a.m. John Bradley Lalonde, 40, of Saint Anne de Bellevue, Quebec, was issued a summons on Cummings Road by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of operating under the influence.

Big-box bandits

7/7 at 12:55 p.m. Police received a call from Walmart on Gallery Boulevard, where employees said they saw two people leaving the store with stolen goods. The duo had escaped Walmart without being detained and were observed to have been headed to Marden’s. When police arrived at Marden’s, the pair allegedly ducked out a side exit, but were eventually detained by officers. Police say the accused thieves – Ivan M. O’Hara, 18, of Portland, and a 15-year-old Westbrook girl – had more than $100 worth of cosmetics and electronics. They both were summonsed for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and the girl was also charged with refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

Hold your fire

7/9 at 9:42 p.m. The police officer responsible for patrolling Higgins Beach allegedly saw a pair of men shooting off fireworks from the beach. Fireworks were recently legalized for purchase and use in Maine, but the law won’t go into effect until January. Donald Norton, 46, and James Norton, 56, both of Braintree Mass., were issued summonses for illegal possession of fireworks.
