1/6 at 5:31 p.m. Ralph C. Ferrante, 39, of Albany Street, South Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Steven Thibodeau on a charge of violating bail conditions of release.

1/6 at 5:31 p.m. Drew V. Willinston, 50, of Harriet Street, South Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Steven Thibodeau on a charge of operating under the influence, 2 priors.

1/7 at 2:29 p.m. Anne Marie Young, 29, of New County Road, Saco, was arrested on Milliken Road by Officer Garret Strout on a warrant.

1/8 at 4:37 a.m. Sean M. Conley, 20, of Main Street, South Portland, was arrested on Pleasant Hill Road by Officer Douglas Weed on charges of operating under the influence, failure to make an oral or written accident report, operating without a driver’s license and leaving the scene of a motor-vehicle accident.

1/8 at 11:29 a.m. Matthew G. Doak, 22, of Waltham, Mass., was arrested on County Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a warrant. 

1/8 at 7:04 p.m. Chris P. Crusan, 28, of Forest Avenue, Portland, was arrested on Black Point Road by Officer Melissa DiClemente on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked driver’s license. 

1/8 at 7:24 p.m. Paul J. Caron, 33, of Holmes Road, was arrested on Holmes Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of violating bail conditions of release, possession of marijuana and sale or use of drug paraphernalia.

1/8 at 11:24 p.m. Ashley A. Field, 26, of Laroche Lane, Hebron, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Melissa DiClemente on two charges of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and possession of a hypodermic apparatus.

1/10 at 11:15 a.m. Christopher Dyer, 50, of White Pine Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Sawyer Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a warrant and a charge of violating bail conditions of release.

1/14 at 1:07 p.m. Jessica L. Vennell, 20, of Smithwheel Road, Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Willowdale Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a warrant. 

1/14 at 5:59 p.m. Thomas A. DiBiase, 46, of Route 1, Scarborough, was arrested on Gorham Road by Officer Ian Theriault on a warrant.

1/15 at 11:07 a.m. Richard L. Hagan Jr., 32, of Clover Leaf Lane, was arrested on Clover Leaf Lane by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of violating a protective order.

Police receive quack call

1/13 at 1:14 p.m. A resident of Thomas Drive reported hearing several gunshots near her home. Officers searched the area and found two perfectly legal duck hunters seeking game. No action was taken against the hunters.

Getting fired up

1/14 at 12:05 a.m. A resident of Hunnewell Road reported seeing a fire in an unfinished home she knew to be unoccupied. Concerned about foul play, she called the police. Officers discovered a burning pellet stove, which the homeowner reportedly told police was left on to keep the building tempered during cold weather.

Friendly lights

1/15 at 2:54 An Officer patrolling Running Hill Road stopped when he saw headlights in the former landfill off Green Road, which straddles the Scarborough/Westbrook town line. The gate was closed, so the officer investigated the car. It turned out the suspicious vehicle belonged to a Westbrook police officer who had entered the landfill from his side.

1/12 at 5:45 p.m. Problem with chimney, electricity, gas or stove on Wedgewood Street.

1/14 at 6:54 p.m. Problem with chimney, electricity, gas or stove on Plymouth Drive.

1/15 at 12:56 a.m. Carbon monoxide alarm on Cabela Boulevard.

1/15 at 4:39 a.m. Carbon monoxide alarm on Cedarbrook Drive.
