1/4 at 10:09 a.m. Zackery J. Douglas, 18, and Quigley Douglas, 19, both of Holmes Road, were both arrested on Beech Ridge Road by Officer Brian Nappi on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

1/4 at 1:07 a.m. Gage J. Frates, 20, of Old Cutts Road, Kittery, was arrested on Route 1 by Sgt. John O’Malley on charges of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and violating bail conditions.

1/6 at 3:14 p.m. David L. Malm, 46, of Rowe Road, Buxton, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Michael Beeler on a warrant.

Weapons upgrade

1/4 at 10:09 a.m. An 18-year-old male reported to police that he had been robbed by two men who were brothers while they were all walking together on a path through the woods. The brothers allegedly knew he had a Glock .40 handgun in his backpack, belonging to a family member and demanded to see it. One of the brothers then allegedly threatened the young man with a hunting knife and demanded he give them the gun. He reported that once he handed over the gun, one of the brothers threatened him with it and told him not to report the incident to the police. Zackery J. Douglas, 18, and Quigley Douglas, 19, both of Scarborough, were later arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. The gun was recovered from a person in Limington the brothers had allegedly sold it to.

Publishers Clear-Your-Bank-Account

1/6 at 11:09 a.m. A caller reported that he had been contacted by Publishers Clearing House and was told he had won $2.5 million, a car and $18,000 cash, but that he had to pay $1,350 in taxes to receive the money. The man reportedly went to Walmart and obtained a “money-gram,” which he mailed to the company. When the company contacted him again asking for $1,700, he refused to pay and reported the incident to the police. Police believe it was a scam.
