12/7 at 10:31 a.m. Peter M. Leavitt, 31, of Houlton Street, Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on five warrants.

12/9 at 2:53 p.m. Robert S. Hargis, 20, of Southwell Avenue, South Portland, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and two charges of violating bail condition of release.

12/10 at 2:52 a.m. Kathleen J. Chase, 43, of Mountfort Street, Portland, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of possession of scheduled drugs and on a warrant.

12/10 at 2:30 p.m. Jennifer L. Gleason, 26, of Brown Road, Raymond, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Brian Nappi on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

12/11 at 1:01 p.m. Keith Mercer, 24, of Buxton, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

12/8 at 9:10 a.m. Shannon M. Ernst, 28, of Francis Street, Old Orchard Beach, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Brian Nappi on a charge of criminal speeding (more than 30 mph over the speed limit).

12/8 at 3:35 p.m. Erin R. Davis, 28, of Birch Lane, Old Orchard Beach, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Craig Hebert on a charge of operating without a driver’s license.

12/10 at 12:01 p.m. Adam J. Gallant, 21, of Parkview Court, Biddeford, was issued a summons on Payne Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

12/11 at 1:01 p.m. A man at Walmart was spotted by an employee as he allegedly tried to swap out the old pair of boots he had on with a new pair of Herman Survivors, valued at $45. The employee reported the alleged attempted theft to the police, who arrested Keith Mercer, 24, of Buxton, on a charge of theft. Police said they weren’t sure, but they believe Mercer was allowed to put his old boots back on before being put in the cruiser.
