8/19 at 6:50 p.m. Cody Mushero, 19, of Twilight Drive, was arrested at Eastern and Old Blue Point roads by Officer Joshua Guay on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

8/20 at 10:25 a.m. Melvin J. Logan, 73, of Main Street, Biddeford, was arrested on Gorham Road by Officer Joshua Guay on a charge of violating probation.

8/20 at 8:36 p.m. A 15-year-old male, of Scarborough, was arrested on Coachlantern Lane by Officer Melissa DiClemente on a charge of violating  conditions of release.

8/22 at 3:02 p.m. Jason C. Hamilton, 36, of Dunnel Road, Buxton, was arrested on County Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

8/22 at 3:02 p.m. Joshua S. Lessard, 35, of County Road, was arrested on County Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on charges of unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs and sale or use of drug paraphernalia. 

8/22 at 5:35 p.m. William Syska, 62, of Robert Mills Road, South Portland, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Travis Hon on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/23 at 5:09 a.m. Michael A. Miller, 19, of High Point Road, was arrested at Winnocks Neck and Orchard Hill roads by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/24 at 3:30 p.m. Kara Paine, 27, of Court Street, Auburn, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Austin Clark on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and sale or use of drug paraphernalia.

8/24 at 3:30 p.m. Kyle Sampson, 26, of Court Street, Auburn, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Austin Clark on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Summonses

8/20 at 7:20 a.m. Lawrence G. Dixon Jr., 63, no address listed, of Sanford, was issued a summons at U.S. Route 1 and Sawyer Road by Officer Benjamin Landry on a charge of attaching false plates.

8/20 at 5:25 p.m. Peter R. Lund, 45, of Elm Street, Biddeford, was issued a summons at Holmes and Dresser roads by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

8/22 at 1:17 p.m. Joyce L. Russell, 55, of Broadway, South Portland, was issued a summons on Payne Road by Officer Douglas Weed on a charge of theft by deception.

8/23 at 2:34 p.m. Laurie A. Watkins, 33, of 1407 Northeast 56 Court, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was issued a summons on Payne Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of cruelty to animals.

8/24 at 7:01 p.m. William M. Buxbaum, 20, of Grove Street, Biddeford, was issued a summons on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Michael Thurlow on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

Hot dogs

8/23 at 2:34 p.m. A complaint of two dogs locked in a vehicle with the windows up in sunny, 72 degree weather at Marden’s on Payne Road led to an animal cruelty summons for the dogs’ owner, Laurie Watkins, 33, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Police said Watkins claimed she had only been in the store 10 minutes, though the complaint was made 25 minutes before police issued the summons.

8/24 at 11:30 a.m. Police said vehicle burglaries on and near the Eastern Trail have increased in the past two weeks. Suspects break windows and steal any valuables in sight, according to reports, so police encourage residents not to leave purses, wallets, electronics or cash in plain view in an unattended vehicle.
