8/14 at 5:28 a.m. Corey L. Hall, 21, of Soper Road, Winthrop, was arrested at Gorham Road and Quentin Drive by Sgt. Mary Pearson on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

8/16 at 1:58 p.m. Joshua J. Salang, 27, of Evergreen Drive, Gorham, was arrested on County Road by Officer Michael Thurlow on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license and outstanding warrants from another agency.

Burglus interruptus

8/13 at 2:57 a.m. A Freedom Road homeowner reported interrupting a burglary in progress. The alleged suspect escaped, riding a Trek mountain bike and carrying a pink purse taken from the homeowner’s car. The purse, containing $5 and bicycle were found off Mitchell Hill Road. The money was returned, and police have the bicycle.

Knock knock, whose fare?

8/14 at 4 a.m. Police responding to a disturbance at Extended Stay Hotel on Ashley Drive found a man outside a room banging on a window to get a companion to pay his cab fare. The driver was paid and police left.
