8/6 at 4:58 p.m. Alison Harding, 27, of Maple Street, Topsham, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Craig Hebert on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

8/6 at 5:06 p.m. Heather L. Bristol, 47, of Pleasant Street, Lewiston, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Joshua Guay on charges of operating after revocation for being a habitual offender and violating conditions of release.

8/6 at 5:06 p.m. A 15-year-old male, of Lewiston, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Joshua Guay on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

8/7 at 1:40 a.m. Devin Roche, 19, of Minott Street, South Portland, was arrested on Spurwink Road by Officer Austin Clark on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/8 at 11:19 p.m. Alan D. Potthoff, 56, of White Sands Lane, was arrested on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Joshua Guay on charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

8/10 at 11:04 p.m. Laura Smith, 27, of Sumner Lane, Madison, N.H., was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Benjamin Landry on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Twisted turnpike

8/7 at 3:38 p.m. A driver alleged to have been drinking a Twisted Tea while driving on the Maine Turnpike was stopped at Payne and Gorham roads and warned by police about having an open container of alcohol.

A bit more than borrowed

8/8 at 10:29 a.m. A Whipple Lane resident reported the theft of an $850 leaf blower, allegedly stolen when he left it in his open garage two days before. He told police he waited to report the theft because he thought the leaf blower might have been borrowed by a neighbor.

Waiting to get clipped

8/9 at 8:30 a.m. Police investigating a possible dispute between a man and woman parked outside Haircuts Plus on Hannaford Drive were told by the man he was arguing with a family member on his phone. He did say he was angered enough to punch something at a Hannaford Bros. cart corral, but otherwise, he and his girlfriend were waiting for the salon to open.
