4/11 at 10:14 a.m. Brooke Bernier, 31, of Forest Park, Portland, was arrested on Saco Street by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked and operating with a suspended registration.

4/11 at 1:41 p.m. Vincent M. Varanelli, 20, of Hanson Road, South China, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

4/11 at 1:41 p.m. Jason A. Lowell, 29, of Riverside Street, Portland, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

4/13 at 7:46 p.m. Michael L. Stanley, 42, of Green Needle Drive, was arrested on Green Needle Drive on charges of assault and criminal mischief.

4/15 at 9:53 p.m. Erin Noelle Crommie, 34, of First Street, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of operating under the influence and violating bail conditions.

4/16 at 1:47 p.m. Nicholas A. Dyro, 31, of Pequawket Trail, West Baldwin, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of domestic violence assault.

4/12 at 1:36 p.m. Milton t. Gonzalez, 34, of Nicholas Lane, Waterboro, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

4/12 at 1:53 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was issued a summons on Municipal Drive by Detective Francis Plourd on a charge of possession of tobacco by a minor.

A water purifier?

4/12 at 2:05 a.m. A caller on Down East Lane reported a man outside going through unlocked cars. The man allegedly ran off before officers arrived, however not before taking two GPS units, CDs, sunglasses and a water purifier. Police and a K9 tracked the man into the woods and reportedly found all the missing items left on the ground. The suspect was not located, but the items were returned to their owners.

No-so-special delivery

4/15 at 3:46 p.m. A FedEx driver called police to report that when he arrived to drop off a package to a home on Running Hill Road, he found the front door kicked open. Officers investigated and the homeowner was called. Jewelry, silver dollars, backpacks, a spotting scope and a film camera were all reported missing. Police currently have no suspects.

Dalmatian wannabe

4/17 at 10:48 a.m. Firefighters at the Engine 5 Fire Station on Saco Street called police to report a yellow lab/husky mix dog had just arrived at the station. The dog was licensed and was named MoJo. The animal control officer reportedly returned MoJo to his owners.

Health-conscious vandals

4/17 at 9:58 p.m. Officers responded to a caller on Phinneas Lane who reported several suspects had thrown yogurt containers at the house. When officers arrived, they observed yogurt on the house and windows, and damage to several screens. The suspects had reportedly run off.
