4/6 at 2:59 a.m. Colin Haines, 28, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating under the influence on East Grand Ave.

4/7 at 6:21 a.m. Thomas Mulkhern, 24, of Rome, was arrested by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of operating a vehicle after a habitual offender revocation, violation of bail conditions, failure to register vehicle, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and failure to produce vehicle insurance.

4/7 at 2:07 p.m. Sergey Nakhabenko, 24, of Westfield, Mass., was arrested by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer at Cabela’s.

4/10 at 2:25 a.m. Emily Keenan, 18, of Ramsay Terrace, was arrested by Officer Craig Hebert on charges of operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license on Broadturn Road.

4/10 at 2:25 a.m. Carylanne Brown, 22, of Sawyer Road, was arrested by Craig Hebert on a charge of violating bail conditions on Broadturn Road.

4/6 at 12:27 p.m. Chelsea Broy St. Pierre, 24, of Steep Falls, was summonsed by Officer Scott Vaughan on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violation of bail conditions at Shaw’s Supermarket.

4/7 at 1:01 a.m. Cameron Walker, 21, of Sawyer Road, was summonsed by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of criminal speeding of more than 30 mph over the posted speed.

4/10 at 3:18 p.m. Megan Shope, 20, of Broadturn Road, was summonsed by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on charges of 2 counts of allowing a dog to run at large and two counts of keeping an unlicensed dog.

4/11 at 1:42 a.m. Amy Owens, 43, of Portland, was summonsed by Officer Michael Beeler on a charge of operating under the influence on Route 1.

4/11 at 12:29 p.m. A 17-year-old was summonsed by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of possession of tobacco products by a minor with one prior offense on Holmes Road.

Thief walks out with ice cream, soup

4/6 at 12:37 p.m. Police responded to a call from Shaw’s Supermarket that a woman allegedly walked out of the store with a 24-pack of Coca-Cola cans, two boxes of Edy’s ice cream, one box of Friendly’s ice cream and one large bowl of self-serve soup. The Shaw’s employee gave police a license plate number and they reportedly tracked the driver of the car to Wal-Mart. Chelsea Broy St. Pierre, 24, of Steep Falls, was summonsed on charges of theft and violation of bail. She was then arrested on April 12 for reportedly stealing two packages of paper towels from Rite Aid.

Licensed to hit and run

4/9 at 8:58 p.m. Police responded to the report of a pedestrian hit by a car in the parking lot at the Rock and Roll Diner on Route 1. A diner employee was reportedly taking boxes out to the Dumpster when he was struck by a car driven by a woman on a cell phone. The employee, who was OK, reportedly said the driver stopped, but then took off down Broadturn Road. Police caught up with the vehicle and found that the driver was a 17-year-old girl from Scarborough who got her license the day before. She was summonsed on an intermediate license violation charge, as she had passengers in the car.

Pit bulls at large

4/10 at 3:18 p.m. The animal control officer was called out to the scene of two pit bull dogs wandering around. The dogs were reportedly tearing apart the carcass of a dead skunk on the side of the road. A passerby allegedly tried to catch them to get them out of the road and was bitten by one of the dogs. The officer was able to track down the roommate of the dogs owners, Megan Shope, 20, of Scarborough, who was charged with two counts of allowing a dog to run at large and two counts of having unlicensed dogs. The dog owners were unavailable, as one was in jail and the other at work. There were three other dogs at the property as well.
