SCARBOROUGH —The group Friends of the Scarborough Library is asking for donations of “gently used” books for its Annual Book Sale.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 25, it will hold a community-wide book drop at Scarborough Public Works on Washington Avenue. Books may also be dropped off at the library during regular business hours.
The Friends cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or condensed books. All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Scarborough Library. For more information, contact Pat Buttner at 883-6828.
