SCARBOROUGH — Republicans are invited to the Republican Town Committee caucus at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in Chambers A and B at Scarborough Town Hall. According to Chairwoman Annalee Rosenblatt, business of the caucus will be completed by about 1 p.m.

The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the state convention, to elect members to the Cumberland County Republican Committee and to organize for the upcoming elections. Scarborough is eligible to elect 69 delegates and 69 alternates to the state convention, which will be held in Portland on May 7 and 8. The Cumberland County Republican Committee meets the third Tuesday of the month at various locations around the state.

County Republican Chairman Rep. Rich Cebra will address the caucus, and all announced GOP candidates for governor have been invited to attend.
