SCARBOROUGH — In a pool of 15 candidates running for the Board of Education, Nicholas Gill, Sarah Leighton, April Sither, Amy Glidden and Alicia Giftos prevailed at the polls Tuesday.
According to unofficial results, Sither, Leighton and Gill, who will serve three-year terms, received 4,311, 4,085 and 3,875 votes, respectively.
Glidden, who raked in 5,757, and Giftos, with 4,529, will each serve one-year terms on the board.
