BATH — Take a beautiful view of the Kennebec River, add in fresh air and good tunes, and you’ve got a great recipe for enjoying Maine in the summer.

The free “Summer Saturdays Concert Series,” produced by the Chocolate Church Arts Center, runs Saturdays from 6-8 p.m., July 12-Aug. 30, at Waterfront Park.

Truth About Daisies, a folk rock trio, kicks things off on July 12, followed by the Mehuman Jonson Trio, which offers R&B, rock and jazz, on July 19. “An Evening with the Saltwater Hillbilly,” featuring tropical country and cowboy music, will be held July 26, with Cilantro, a local folk-rock duo, performing Aug. 2. Hollow Body Eclectic, which performs original American rock, takes the stage Aug. 9, followed by Married with Chitlns, offering folk, country and bluegrass, on Aug. 16. Love to Burn, an original roots rock show, ends the series on Aug. 30.

In case of rain, shows will be held inside the Chocolate Church, 804 Washington St.
