PORTLAND — SailMaine will host the high school Northern New England Championship for Sailing on May 9 and 10.
The races, with 14 teams from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont competing, will start at 10 a.m. at 58 Fore St. and last no later than 4 p.m.
SailMaine teams come from Falmouth, Yarmouth, Portland, Casco Bay, Cape Elizabeth, Cheverus, Scarborough, Freeport and South Portland high schools. Additional sailors come from Waynflete School, North Yarmouth Academy, Baxter Academy, and Lincoln and Freeport middle schools.
