SCARBOROUGH — Paving work begins at 7 p.m. this Sunday, June 24, on Route 22 between the intersections with Route 114 and Broad Turn Road in Gorham and Scarborough.

Maine Department of Transportation spokesman Ted Talbot said work will occur between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the three-mile stretch of road. Travel will be limited to one lane in stretches and flaggers will guide drivers through affected areas.

Talbot said paving work is expected to be wrapped up by the middle of next month.
