Mt. Ararat competes at Class A ski state meet
Mt. Ararat’s Nordic ski team took part in the Class A state meet and had a solid performance.
The Eagles girls were sixth in the freestyle, fifth in the classic and tied Greely for fifth overall. Leavitt and Mt. Blue tied for the top spot. Individually, Linnea Tilberg came in eighth in the classic (16:59.2). Emma Wood was ninth in the freestyle (15:30.8) and ninth in the classic (17:01.2).
The Mt. Ararat boys placed eighth in the freestyle, seventh in the classic and seventh overall. Mt. Blue won the title. Individually, Alex Spies was 24th in the classic race (16:48.7) and 34th in the freestyle (15:20.2).
