GEORGETOWN — Rosalyn F. Williams, 76, died peacefully at home on April 18, surrounded by family.

She was born in Bath on Sept. 2, 1937, the daughter of Lloyd E. and Aurelia E. Pinkham. She graduated from Morse High School in 1955. On Nov. 7, 1956, she married John D. Williams Jr. They stayed in North Carolina while her husband was serving in the U.S. Marines at Camp Lejeune. They soon returned home to Georgetown, where they raised three daughters.

She was a faithful wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. She enjoyed singing, reading, bird watching, crossword puzzles, her Bible and especially spending time with family. She was an active member of the Five Islands Baptist Church and choir. Her love of the Lord kept her singing every day.

She is survived by her husband, of Georgetown; three daughters, Linda O’Leary and husband, Peter, Cyndy Crosson and husband, Curtis, and Jacqueline Leeman and husband, Scott, all of Georgetown; three brothers, Reginald Pinkham, of Brunswick, Lloyd Pinkham and wife, Joyce, of Brunswick and Franklin Pinkham and wife, Brenda, of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Amy Lang, John O’Leary, Shawn Crosson, Carly Crosson and Krysta Leeman, all of Georgetown; two great-grandchildren, Katahdin Rose Lang and Jack Oliver Lang; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. April 26 at the Five Islands Baptist Church, with Pastor Barry Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Mountainside Cemetery in Georgetown and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Georgetown Community Center.
