BRUNSWICK — Ronald W. Bartlett Sr., 68, died July 9 at Mid Coast Hospital.

He was born in Houlton on Oct. 30, 1940, the son of Wilbert M. and Frances F. Bartlett.

After graduating from Hampden Academy, he completed an apprenticeship program at Bath Iron Works, and worked in the machine shop for 36 years, until he retired in 1995.

On Aug. 4, 1973, he married Sandra Lee “Sandee” Mooney.

He was a member of the Masonic Solar Lodge in Bath. His interests included snowmobiling, spending quality time with family, and enjoying his camp in Caratunk.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Sandee; three children, R. Wayne Jr., and his wife Vanessa of Brunswick, Calvin of Brunswick, and Sheri of Cundys Harbor; a sister, Becky Moriarty, and her husband Bruce of Bluffton, S.C.; six grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Graham, Simon, Mandi, and Maysen; sister-in-law Debbi Zorn of Bowdoinham, and brother-in-law James Mooney of Bowdoinham; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held earlier this week.

Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
