TOPSHAM — Roland Nelson Mullen Jr., 73, died Nov. 28 in Bath while lovingly being cared for by his daughter, Annie Couture, and son-in-law, Christopher Couture.
Born June 16, 1942, Mullen served in the Marine Corps from 1961-65 in the Topographic Co. He was an owner/operator of a trucking corporation for more than 40 years who enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with the family dogs. Mullen also liked talking with family and friends and taking road trips with his lifelong friend, Suzanne Downing, but his real love was his daughter, Annie.
At Mullen’s request, there will be no funeral. Those who so desire may make memorial donations to the Brunswick Coastal Humane Society Shelter, 30 Range Road, Brunswick, ME 04011.
