Former Mt. Ararat High standout Mark Rogers, of Orrs Island, made his long awaited Major League Baseball debut for the Milwaukee Brewers (who drafted him in the first round of the 2004 draft) last Friday, throwing a perfect inning against the Chicago Cubs. Rogers’ path to the majors was delayed by injuries. He could get a start before the end of the season.
