He lived in Brunswick for 37 years and was a huge fan of all Brunswick sports. All his grandchildren and their friends were the highlight of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 37 years; sons Todd, John and Scott; his daughter, Sheri; brothers Melvin and Gary; his grandchildren Joshua, Dejah, Kobe and Matthew; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends from his long residency in Brunswick.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Marilyn Nadeau of Caribou; and a his grandson, Travon Christopher, who died in 2000.

Services were held March 1. A special thank you to the Hospice Unit at Togus Medical Center, Chans and Hospice in Brunswick, who made Howe’s last days very special and helped the family tremendously.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the March of Dimes in memory of his grandson, Travon; the American Lung Association, in memory of Howe, or the Coastal Humane Society for his love of animals.
