PORTLAND — The second annual 5K run, ride and fun run to benefit the Scarborough-based Robbie Foundation will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, in Payson Park.
The event benefits the foundation, which provides adaptive equipment, therapy treatments and other services for special needs children not covered by insurance.
The event will also feature hot-air balloon rides beginning at 7:30 a.m. in Payson Park and other activities beginning at 9 a.m. Online registration is $15 at robbiefoundation.com. Event-day registration for $20 begins at 6:45 a.m. at Payson Park. People using adaptive equipment or wheelchairs are welcome to participate.
