BRUNSWICK — Richard K. Strout, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Mid Coast Senior Health Care.

Born in Rockland, Oct. 7, 1917, he was the son of Charles L. and Lilla Kuhn Strout.

After he graduated from Brunswick High School, he worked at Harry Smart “Ford” Garage in Brunswick before operating Dick’s Mobile in Bath for 20 years.

On April 14, 1940, he married Elsie D. Foehst in Lewiston.

He was a 50-year member of Ft. George Lodge, Knights of Pythias, and a member of the United Methodist Church.

His wife of 70 years, Elsie, predeceased him on Oct. 20. He was also predeceased by a sister, Priscilla Maude Tobey.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for him and his wife will be held next spring at Hillside Cemetery in Lisbon Falls.

Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
