The first time I wrote a letter in support of Leah Guay’s election to the Yarmouth School Committee, it was based on Leah’s character, parenting skills, and school involvement. Now that Leah is seeking re-election, I’m writing a letter because she has served the children and their families passionately during her committee tenure. In the midst of some contentious issues, she has kept a level head and listened meaningfully to both sides. She is immersed in the community, and she is always up to date with relevant research. Her role on the school committee is not just a part of her life, but it transcends all areas. She looks out for Yarmouth kids like they are her own, and she is dedicated to providing them with a quality education and foundation for life after graduation, for whatever path they choose. Please join me in voting for Leah.
