“I’ve been here 16 years and I’ve never replaced one of these before,” Bath Public Works employee Earl Hay said as he came down from the Bath Fire Department’s ladder truck with a burned out bulb. He replaced all four 1,000-watt bulbs on the pole at the center of the downtown shopping center parking lot, between Reny’s and the police station on Monday afternoon.
