PORTLAND — The sixth annual walk to remember murder victim Darien Richardson will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Back Cove on Baxter Boulevard.

Richardson was 25 when she died Feb. 28, 2010, 50 days after getting shot during a home invasion. The crime remains unsolved. 

The Remembering Darien Foundation was established by her friends and family to advocate for victims of violent crime, especially gun violence.

The public is invited to take part. There is no fee to participate, but donations are welcomed.
