CAPE ELIZABETH — General online registration for the 19th annual TD Beach to Beacon 10K road race is March 11.
Up to 600 Cape Elizabeth residents will be able to register for the Aug. 6 race on March 10.
Registration at beach2beacon.org begins on both days at 7 a.m., with the 4,000 spots reserved for the general public expected to be filled within minutes; last year the spots were filled in four minutes 15 seconds.
A lottery for the remaining 1,950 spots in the race will begin when the registration ends on March 11 and will close at 11:59 p.m. on March 20. Runners chosen for the lottery will be notified March 22.
