TOPSHAM ? Reed R. Nickles, 42, of Topsham Crossing Road, died unexpectedly Oct. 5 at his home.
He was born in Brunswick Feb. 13, 1973, the son of Reed V. and Sharon A. Crouse Nickles.
Nickles attended Bath schools and was a 1991 graduate of Morse High School. He worked for many years at Unum as a senior long term disability specialist, but Nickles’ daughter Brynn was the light of his life.
In June 2008, he married April Ferris.
In addition to his wife, of Topsham, Nickles is survived by a daughter, Brynn Nickles and her mother, Michelle Byrnes-Nickles, both of Topsham; his parents, Reed V. and Sharon A. Nickles of Bath; his maternal grandmother, Connie Crouse, of Bath; a brother, Dean Nickles, and his wife, Stephanie, of South China; two nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 9 at The East Brunswick Baptist Church, 81 Farley Road, with Pastor Mark Watson officiating. Interment will be later in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath.
