BRUNSWICK — Ralph E. Radley, 71, died Dec. 11 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

On Oct. 15, 1938, he was born in Bath, a son of Charles Albert and Beatrice Ruth Cressey Radley and attended local schools.

He served in the Army National Guard for 13 years.

For several years he worked for the City of Portland’s cemetery department and later was caretaker for Rush’s Trailer Park in Brunswick.

On Aug. 3, 1991, he married Gertrude “Gert” Cook.

He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Gertrude of Brunswick; two sons, Charlie Radley of Buxton and Larry Radley and his wife, Penny of Freeport and three daughters, Doris Stiels and her husband, Tracy of Tennessee, Joni Beaulieu of Freeport, and Charlene Robichaud and her husband, Richard of Brunswick; two brothers, Charlie Radley of Freeport and Frederick Winship of Rockland and two sisters, Gloria Santamore and Louise Skillings, both of Belfast; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are private.

Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
