BRUNSWICK — Rachel Erin Mooney, 25, died July 13 at Central Maine Medical Center from injuries sustained in a car accident.
On April 21, 1984, she was born in Portland, the daughter of John T. and Nancy A. (Hughes) Mooney.
After graduating from the Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone, she attended the University of Maine at Farmington.
She worked for Coffee by Design in Portland, and had recently begun working at the Fish Bowl Farm in Bowdoinham.
She loved spending time with her friends and extended family, enjoyed music and the arts, and adored children.
Friends and family will remember her bubbly personality, beautiful smile, liberal mind and wonderful sense of humor.
She is predeceased by her grandmother, Joan M. Hughes of Bangor.
Surviving are her parents, John and Nancy Mooney of Brunswick; two brothers, Nathan Mooney of Portland, John Mooney of Brunswick; her grandparents, Robert and Sally Ivers of Brewer; and many cousins.
Memorial services were held last week.
Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick.
