SCARBOROUGH — Public works departments from Cape Elizabeth, Gorham, Portland, Scarborough, Standish, Windham and Yarmouth will show their stuff from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Gateway Shoppes in Scarborough.

In celebration of National Public Works Week, crews from the departments will greet visitors, give demonstrations, and allow visitors to explore dump trucks, graders and other machinery.

There will also be games and giveaways for younger visitors and door prizes, coffee, cocoa and refreshments for adults. Gateway Shoppes, on Payne Road just south of Haigis Parkway, is home to Cabela’s and other businesses.
